Brittany sees therapy as a non-judgmental space where together we seek to be curious rather than critical. She believes that full recovery is possible and joins with individuals to help guide them to overcome their fears.

In her free time, Brittany is an avid traveler and loves learning more about the world and people around her.

Brittany (she/her) is the co-founder of Intuitive Wellness Therapy Group and is an action oriented compassionate therapist who uses acceptance and mindfulness-based approaches to help individuals better understand their reason for seeking support. Brittany takes an individualized, mind-body focused approach when working with individuals to empower them to connect with their authentic selves. She helps individuals increase awareness of their core value system to engage in a life worth living daily.

Feel like OCD, anxiety, or striving to be perfect is taking over your life.

Are looking for a safe space to explore and heal past trauma through a mind-body connection.

Give everything you have throughout the day and feel like you have nothing left for yourself.

Are looking for individualized ED support for recovery, body image, or family member support.

Work With Brittany If You...

That we all have our own unique lived experiences and will honor these by creating a collaborative, compassionate, and personalized approach.

That true recovery is possible and the stories of our past do not need to determine our future.

That everyone deserves a nonjudgmental space where it is safe to be curious, explore, and feel empowered to move from surviving to thriving.

Areas of specialty

Anyone can get training in therapy; finding a person you can trust to be your most vulnerable self begins the therapeutic process.

Mindfulness-based therapy: Aims to help individuals cultivate present-moment awareness, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve their overall well-being.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Emphasizes the development of emotional regulation skills and the adoption of healthier coping strategies to manage intense emotions.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): One of the most widely used and effective modalities that addresses a wide range of problems by helping you modify your thinking patterns and behavior.

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP): Involves progressively exposing yourself to the cognitions, emotions, objects, places, or events that trigger your anxiety or compulsions. This is a client-centered approach, and the therapist will not try to push you farther than you are willing and able to go.

Somatic Therapies: Provide a holistic approach to healing trauma by integrating both the mind and body. Through embodied practices, these approaches address the physical manifestations of trauma, facilitating deeper emotional processing and release.

Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RODBT): Addresses issues of over-control by fostering openness, flexibility, and enhanced social connectedness to help people who are struggling with perfectionism, rigidity, internalizing emotions, and excessive self-control.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Encourages individuals to accept their internal experiences and commit to value-driven actions, thereby increasing psychological flexibility and resilience
