How we handle information when you visit our website or send us a message.

Last updated: September 14, 2026

This document is designed for a U.S. virtual behavioral-health and nutrition practice and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel (including Illinois counsel) before launch to confirm it matches your entity structure, payor policies, and clinical agreements.

Overview

Intuitive Wellness Therapy Group (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates intuitivewellnesstherapygroup.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit the Site or submit our contact form.

This Policy applies to information collected through the Site. It does not replace the Notice of Privacy Practices or other agreements you may receive once you become a client and use our clinical systems (for example, a client portal). Clinical records are governed by separate policies and applicable law, including HIPAA where it applies to covered services.

This site is not for emergencies

The contact form and Site are not monitored 24/7 and are not a substitute for emergency care. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 (or your local emergency number). For mental health crisis support in the U.S., call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

Please do not use the contact form to send detailed clinical information, diagnoses, or other protected health information. We will provide secure intake steps after we respond to your initial inquiry.

Information we collect

We may collect the following when you use the Site:

  • Contact form: first and last name, email address, phone number, service interest, state or location, optional provider preference, and message content.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and pages viewed, collected automatically through standard server and security logs.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: we use only what is necessary to operate and secure the Site unless you later authorize analytics (see Cookies below).

How we use information

We use Site information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and schedule complimentary discovery calls.
  • Contact you at the email address or phone number you provide to follow up on your inquiry (for example, to clarify scheduling or next steps). We do not use your phone number for unrelated telemarketing or promotional text messages.
  • Route messages to the appropriate clinician or staff member.
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its security.
  • Comply with law, regulation, or valid legal process.
  • Protect the rights, safety, and security of our practice, clients, and the public.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us run the Site and process contact form submissions (including Formspree, Inc., which receives form data on our behalf, and our hosting and email delivery providers), subject to confidentiality obligations and only for the purposes described in this Policy. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect safety.

If you become a client, information you provide in clinical care may be handled under separate policies and systems (such as our electronic health record or client portal).

Retention

We retain contact form submissions and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or professional requirements, then delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information submitted through the Site. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of certain processing. To make a request, contact us through the contact form and label your message “Privacy request.” We will verify your request as required by law.

Residents of certain states (including California, Colorado, Virginia, and others) may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Children and teens

The Site is intended for adults and for parents or guardians inquiring on behalf of minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site without appropriate parental consent. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Clinical services for adolescents are subject to consent and assent rules in the client’s state of residence.

Cookies and analytics

We may use essential cookies or similar technologies required for security and basic Site function. If we enable analytics (such as Google Analytics) in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required, obtain consent before non-essential tracking.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
